This is for the Elementalists. Is there any point on buiyng new armor at Yak's bend, sine they all give the same def. ?

If you bought the better armor set from Ascalon, no, there is not point. It's the exact same stuff.

Lion's Arch is the first perchaseable armor place with better stats.
